I've been looking into installing an alarm, but I don't know which is better. My electrician is recommending a hardwire system, but this means installation costs and possible cables trailing all around the house.
I've also been looking at wireless systems, which have the benefit of easy installation, but, I've heard that some sysems are not very secure and can be "switched off".
Can anyone offer some good impartial advice?
