Because some issues deserve ridicule, especially when they try to present evidence for things that don't exist.

Therefore to ridicule some issues is not necessary trolling.

I think it's the glaring lack of credibility - like the evidence vacuum for example - that invites cynicism.

Not really a lack of credibility is it though. Plenty of proof and witnesses about. You just do not believe them, that doesn't make them not credible.
