Aliens landing in Trafalgar square and setting up an embassy would be pretty convincing. Perhaps a recreation of Independence day.

It is the close minded UFO fans that can't be convinced. They won't open their mind to the possibility they're wrong.

Exactly, how can you be so stupid, and so conceited, as to believe that the only intelligent life in this vast universe, is us. Any thinking person, of intelligence, would simply accept that somewhere other than the earth, there must be other lifeforms, possibly less advanced than us, possibly much more advanced. They don't need to land in Trafalgar Square, to convince me of that, Drake's Equation is enough for most.
