Hi after running for a few seconds the boiler trips out have checked the diaphrams they seem okay rang alpha they said pcb board faulty changed that still no heating any ideas please

i have a baxi 80eco and mines seems to be doing the same is your pump running,
 
Hi do you think its the electrode been quoted £40 already spent £140 still no joy

for some reason people on here don"t like you trying to fix your fault in these times they would rather see you being ripped off.........i"m no gas engineer i not that lucky they are very special people but if the pump is running aps sw fan is running boiler cuuting out try unscrewing the thermistor which is sat above the safety stat ( on a baxi) and remove it from the pipe but still have it connected and see what happens.........

turn off boiler and replace thermistor whats the big deal all you need is a 13mm spanner and half a brain!!!
On the 80 eco you dont even have to drain the boiler down!!!
 
Hi thanks for all the replies ive ordered a flame electrode would the thermister cut out that quick when cold and is it the one directly under the overheat stat and I would have to drain the system as its screwed in

have changed flame electrode and flow switch dhw censor still no joy going to be a cold winter i think :(
 
i gave you a clue but as this RGI only work no more info afraid
 
i advised changing the electrode as a start

a ding hijacker advised the sensor

your loss fella

bear in mind we are looking at a screen

and nobody knows it all :idea:
