Alternative metal to Aluminium Coping

Need nearly 30m of coping for a parapet wall on an extension. I can only find alumunium coping online which is very expensive.
Does anyone know of an alternative metal to alumnium and where to source this? I am sure galvinised steel or zinc would be just as good and cheaper but can't seem to find any supplier

Make your own with paving slabs, cut down to size, then grind a drip down each side.

I find it unlikely that zinc will cheaper than aluminium.

I discovered the other day that Liniar PVC fascia is available in some widths 'double sided', and in 5m lengths. I'm thinking that could be an ideal low cost solution.....

Have the flat roofer felt it and then use a trim to finish the edge.
