Alternative solution to noisy Stuart Turner Monsoon pump?

You have one of the best pumps on the market IMO so I'm confused by your ST pump man's comments as it's not my personal experience; I was convinced he would say it was poor installation.

Perhaps he's not that good or your being really critical (no offence); I think I may bid against Nigefor that pump if you do decide to put it on fleabay. :lol:

No offence taken! The pump literally vibrates through the house and wakes everyone up when I have a shower in the mornings (I'm first up and out). I'm going to re-mount it myself to see if that makes a difference. Nigel can go swing for being so cheeky!

But that could still be entirely possible.

That may well cure it but the pipe runs & the way they are clipped could also be causing the problem.
