Alu scaffold tower Eiger / Boss

Hi,
I have an eiger 500 scaffolding tower but require some extra parts. I was told by a few people that boss are identical can anyone confirm this and can you tell me is it safe to do so. As I am finding it hard to source good local second hand eiger pieces so was looking at boss parts as they are far more readily availible. Any help would be great
