Hi all,
First post - I have a timber front door that has started to "creak" at night, presumably expanding. It is now not closing properly to the frame - Yale lock at the top, dead bolt at the bottom; you have no chance of getting the dead bolt in now.
I can see at the front now that the inner timber panels have expanded so much you can see the old, old, old colour paint.
Would you say this has absorbed too much water and will be forever a problem? Or can I get away with a sand, generous coat of Ronseal and be on with my life?
Thanks for any help
