It just requires a mains cold feed like a dishwasher. Since the flow rate is low you could probably run the feed in 10mm plastic pipe - easier to thread under the floor.

They supply enough 10mm plastic to get it across the kitchen under ther floor. One small bit of board up at each end. Many come with a connector that you screw into the 15mm water supply like the washing machine ones, that bore a hole in the pipe as you tighten up and seal as they go.

Depends how big the kitchen! Anyway don't forget you need enough slack at the fridge end to allow for pulling out the fridge. Best practice is to have the isolating valve behind/near fridge, not the other side of kitchen.

Just done one for a M8  .bought a DIY outside tap kit for £10.00, self cutting double checkvalve and tap assembly- a couple of 50mm waste pipe brackets for the filter.....job done ..smallbore nylon pipe supplied with fridge cuts fine with new stanley knife blade. ;) and I`ve got a spare hose union tap+roll of ptfe. EASY to DIY.or get a Polish Plumber.
