Hi, we're in the process of getting our kitchen redone, and have just had an Amtico floor fitted (honed limestone tiles with silver stripping). At first glance it looks fine, but the closer I look the more I notice.
My major concerns are:
1) gaps between the pieces of silver stripping (up to 2mm)
2) rows of tiles slightly out of alignment
3) slightly crooked tiles with a gap at one end that you can get a finger nail down.
None of these might sound like major things, but for the cost of the job I would expect it to be perfect.
We'll be in touch with the flooring company tomorrow, but it would be good to know whether I should expect it to look like this.
Thanks,
Rutley
