Me: hello.

Customer: is that Jef.

Me: yes, how can i help you?

C: do you do bathroom tiles?

M: yes indeed.

C: can you tile my dads floor for £120.

M: id have to look at it, i dont like giving quotes over the telephone, and you never even told me how big the floor is. if you give me your address ill come over this evening and take a look and give you a price.

C: can you come tommorow as i dont want him to know about it.

M: i cant tile it tomoz, but i think he will notice when it is done :rolleyes:

C: oh right, when can you come over?

M: ill come price it up tomoz, then if you agree on the price we can work out when.

C: can you do it before fathers day? (sunday)

M: no, sorry. maybe you need to call round and get someone who is free this week.

C: no its ok, they all say the same. come over tommorow lunch time and we will sort out a date to do the job.

M: ok no problem, where did you hear about me?

C: referred from a friend you did her bathroom last year.

M: ok :rolleyes: ill see yo tommorow.

What? You mean you were not just sat at home waiting for her call to come in, so you can drop everything and go tile a strangers bathroom for their price without even seeing the job? How unprofessional :LOL: :LOL:

That's why I don't do domestic work ;) :D

i put it on for some light humour! and it was a guy who rang.

i thought it a funny call to be honest.

i did find it funny,
