Andrew Bridgen

They mandated all NHS staff to be vaccinated or they will be sacked. We waited with baited breath, this will tell us the truth of how many, especially doctors, have taken their vaccine.

They U turned. They cancelled the mandate.

I still do not know of anyone in my neighbours, friends & family circles who died of this virus.

Neither do i.

Mind you; we all maintained a socially distanced approach to life, wore masks where appropriate and had our vaccine when the time came.

If you didn't do any of these things then you got lucky.

Yes, but the Government "simply picked" Ferguson's worst case scenarios too.
No they used lockdowns and suggestions concerning what people should do to prevent it getting that high. There has been near 1,000,000 people admitted to hospital for covid treatment. People still don't get admitted unless covid is causing serious problems. That has been a requirement all along. No treatment and many of them would die. A simple fact. The NHS can only handle so many so those million had to be stretched out over time.

People can click on various countries on this page to get an idea of the number of people who believe conspiracy theories.

All caused by influencers of one sort or another. Politicians are a type of influencer. There is money in clicks. Some seek fame. Then there are attention seekers.

Yes. Front line staff could be offered redeployment to roles weren't patient facing.

The article does actually use the term 'dismissal letters' suggesting staff would be sacked, and I certainly recall the news at the time stating NHS staff would be sacked if they didn't comply with being vaccinated.

It also says:

The government’s own risk assessment of mandatory jabs published last November estimated that it could lead to the loss of 73,000 staff in a service that in England already has 93,000 vacancies. NHS bosses recently warned that that could make it unsafe and unviable to run entire units of hospitals, especially maternity units.

So it was a dumb idea to suggest making it complsory. It was never official policy.

That was from an article in January 2022.

This one is from March, 2022.

Mandatory Covid jabs for healthcare workers in England to be scrapped

Frontline NHS staff will no longer require vaccination as Sajid Javid also drops requirement for care workers

Why were Frontline staff reluctant to have the jab? Did they know something an unsuspecting public didn't know.?

Why don't you search for relevant claims by frontline staff and let us know?

No, it's true.
No, it isn't.

"Responsibility of manager
  • Ensure there will be no unreasonable delays in commencing redeployment processes as an alternative to dismissal, for unvaccinated staff.
  • Make reasonable efforts to support staff through the redeployment process inclusive of the continuation of one-to-one conversations, signposting staff to information, occupational health and/or specialist expert advice to address vaccine hesitancy.
  • Proactively identify potential redeployment opportunities.
  • Wherever practicable and reasonable, support staff who are successful in obtaining alternative employment through their transition period to the new role via access to training and development or other forms of support.
  • To keep communication open and transparent throughout with staff and their representatives, where applicable."

Now, if you want to post something that says dismissal was the one and only option then crack on.
