There should be a law to stop rich people helping people poorer than them

The population must be delirious with excitement. 40 years ago the Conservative government (back when they were still a bit conservative) was helping poorer people actually own their own homes. Best that can be done these days is 50p off bus fares.

Of course the only ones having a massive boost to living standards are the millions of third worlders they're deliberately allowing to flood in on boats and in massive numbers legally through the back door. Most other Brits' stand of living is rapidly going backwards while they pay ever more taxes for the privilege.

My post was about the irony that the wife of someone who professes to champion the poor working classes and who has just gifted them a whopping 86p a week rise by temporarily reducing bay on electricity, turning up on day one in an £850 frock. How is that misogynistic ?

If those poor people saved up all their 86p's, they too could buy that frock…….in 19 years time!
