Hi chaps

I'm after a took which will help me accurately measure the angle in both internal and external corners of my room in order to make precision mitre cuts to skirting boards. I.e not all corners are 90*.

I'm sure there is such a tool but struggling to find one in screw fix.

Any advice?

take an offcut off skirting or any bit off wood/metal/plastic 4"wide and 12 to 20 inches long

lay a bit off paper or board into the corner or 5 inches sticking out for externals mark the corner point

lay the skirting flat on the floor against one wall draw a line lean against the other wall draw a line

draw a line from the corner to where the lines cross
use the paper to line up your sliding bevel or the saw
