That's one example of what I was talking about. For a very long time now, we in this country have learnt to treat animals humanely and that includes despatching them painlessly.

Now, however, a certain religious group have insisted that they be killed in a mediaeval fashion just to suit their imaginary god. Worse still, just to keep them happy it appears that all meat sold for consumption has to be obtained in that way.

I can't believe that such a big issue is virtually ignored because of cowardice or political corectness.

Yep if you are left wing you will take any crap like your children being drugged and gang raped , or your doctors being crap,or your nurses being crap or your MPs breaking election rules or people claiming services when they aren't entitled or immigrants using the NHS for free and fecking off again , you will even take beheadings on the streets of the capital in fact you would take anything at all , anything just as long as no one calls you a racist.

Halal. I don't know about Kosher, except for 'The Kosher Horses' - a pub near where I used to live.

Interesting that I was fully aware of halal practices but not of kosher, though.
