what is d.0 set to? weather compensation only good if radiators are oversized. Crank the heat curve up insure radiators are balanced correctly hopefully not small bore pipe system. Increase d.2 to 40.
Tonight I lowered d.0 from 20 to 15. Is that too low?
Oh great, more stuff I don't understand. On 22 rads there is a good chance that you will need some kind of hydraulic separation.
Totally. You're starting to see why getting a boiler fitted properly makes sense
Yes vsmart had been added. So seems like system was installed and you have added the vsmart after by your wording? There are a few parameters that need setting correctly and also the simple stat on the megaflo should have been changed out to the valliant thermistor to get the best out of it. Assuming that the vsmart works the same as the older series of controllers. There was also a parameter that elludes me for the time being that can be set so the boiler doesnt request a really low flow temp if the system cannot handle it. But see how d.0 @ 15 goes. With that amount of radiators then as long as balanced well and not that thermostatic valves are closing lots of radiators down then you should be able to get somewhere near. Dont read too much into having a high heat curve the low ones only come into there own if radiators are really oversized so they still give out the required kw at such low flow temps.
