Not sure if this the appropriate board for paving sand.

I just want to know if anyone has used paving sand with anti-growth to prevent weeds and has the product worked.

A local aggregates dealer has recommended Polysweep .......... any opinions?

thanks

I've used the Dansand one (from Wickes) it might be better than normal kiln dried sand but it definitely doesn't stop all weed growth. You need to keep it away from brickwork (garden and house walls) as it can cause effervescence.

I know should use sharp sand, not builders sand, but my daughter used the sharp sand for brick laying, so I only had builders sand to hand when laying the slabs, but not convinced it makes that much difference.

I have no intention to do a re-lay with sharp sand.
