Anti-Syphon Trap

This is a dishwasher/washing machine trap. Fit the HepVo trap on the upright section - you can leave the existing trap at the bottom. HepVo have an adapter to connect plastic pipe onto both ends. Have a length at the top of the HepVo trap, so a washing machine flexible drain pipe can loop over it.

Then no more smells from drying out traps.

Thanks, I was thinking that a cheaper option and quicker resolution would be just to complely block/seal this pipe at the end until such a time as I need to use it.

Blocking/sealing this pipe wont cause any problems will it?
