What do these people gain from preventing other people being vaccinated?
 
Just religious nuts. Churches used to torture and burn people alive for thinking differently. Some people just want to inflict misery and suffering on others. I guess they enjoy it.
 
perhaps they're scared because they have chosen the option giving a significantly higher risk of serious illness or death, and are trying to keep their spirits up.
 
Having exercised their right not to have the jab, they are objecting to restrictions on their lives designed in part to protect society from covid and in part to encourage them to vaccinate.

while I do not condone their selfish behaviour, nor do I sympathise with those not taking the jab, I can understand why they are getting upset at being partially excluded from certain freedoms.

I don't think it has much to do with the actual jab, it is more to do with freedom of choice - despite the massive risk they are taking in insisting upon that freedom. They have stupidly painted themselves into a corner and none of them likes admitting they backed the wrong horse.
 
human nature - when you are wrong, dig in and argue more. It takes significant intelligence and character to U-turn.
