antivirus 2009 Pt2

Had the same problem as a earlier topic and i used the malwarebytes program which worked a treat.
My problem now is i can not log on to my emails it keeps timing out. Any help appreciated.

What email application are you using?

What Antivirus and firewall are you using?

Have you tried temporarily disabling to check that they are not causing this problem?
 
To be honest i am not to sure.
I have just looked and windows firewall is not active.
And for some reason i can not access my norton 360.

It all seems to stem from this rogue antivirus 2009.

This is ok as I believe Norton 360 already has a firewall and you should not run 2 concurrently

This is bad - Norton has email checking which may now be screwed up!. You need to fix it either by re install or visiting the Symantec site for advice

Check for any reported issues with Norton and Malwarebytes - just in case. Also need to check that antivirus 2009 completely removed

Remove Norton 360. You may have to use the removal tool. You'll also probably have to reset your mail server settings.

You should be able to re-install if this is what you want to use.
