Any advice?

I've got a 32mm hole saw & arbor.

I've read all sorts cutting in reverse to start with, to using the arbor hallway then switching to the other side, to clamping another board underneath.

Hopefully somebody has solved this and could help.

Drill from one side, starting the cutter very gently, until the pilot pokes through the other side, then drill from the other side, starting gently with the cutter.
