Have the BBC gone mad - eleven hours of golf. Yaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwn!

Well, it is The Open. Not just any open competition but The Open.
Every golfer in the world calls this competition The Open, not The British Open, but The Open.
Most famous of all golfing competitions , and the one they all want to win the most. Forget the Masters, the US Open or the USPGA or the FEDEX Cup. This is the ultimate golf competition.

Since there are more tv channels available to the average viewer than slices of bread in a loaf, it begs the question....why did you not find it within yourself to switch channels! Double yawn.

Most of the players have been pretty rubbish though? Not the same with out Tiger playing is it? Who's this new player? Rory someone? Rubbish. Anyone ever heard of him?

I didn't get that far.... Just seeing it on the tv guide sent me to sleep.

As for the loaf of bread analogy, the first five slices are sometimes enough to feed one's hunger for tv but the rest of the loaf is just a bag of rotten mouldy
repeats fit for the bin. :D

Lucky there was golf on then eh...!

I like me sports but the truth is I prefer to go read a book.

Darren Clarke in the lead now by 2 shots. If he wins it, he'll be a worthy winner.
