Golf trolly battery

Hi anyone I have a golf trolly that does after about 10 holes.changed a few items but still no joy, I have connected battery direct to motor and run it till it stopped, removed battery and tested it with multimeter and get a reading of 7.1 volts should it still run with that much life still in the battery or is the thing dead any help sorry if this is the place to post this quearie

Obviously not many golf players on this forum, and neither am I. I'm assuming that this is a 12 volt battery and if that is the case then a 12 volt battery showing that sort of voltage, even after discharge, is kernackered. I think you need a new one.

Get a lith-ion battery. Expensive but different gravy.

Most likely a 12v 17ah SLA battery already in it?

Identify the voltage, ah, dimensions and type then find a replacement.

Unless you have a hilly course, get a 3 wheel push.
I changed mine, so much less flaffing about, no worries about 36 holes, putting it on charge etc.
Todays 3 wheelers glide along.
