Any source for small quantity of Marine Ply

I need to fix some support plates to a boat ... this means I need to get hold of some strips of 3mm marine ply.

Anybody aware of somewhere that sells small sheets or offcuts ?

It would be expensive (and a waste) to buy a 1.2 x 2.4 sheet

ask on your local Freegle or Realcycle group as someone may have some already they can let you have.

never heard of either of these place ... I take a look.

they are for when you have some old stuff that you no longer need, like a tv thats still in good usable condition.
Instead of you sending it to the tip & it ending up in landfill etc, you give it away to someone else that will reuse it, they come & collect.

OR if your after something, like some little bits of wood & dont want to buy a whole sheet wasting some, you can ask if someone else has some they no longer need (left overs from a job - at the back of the shed etc) and if someone replies then your in luck

Model shops and the like often supply ply cut to relatively small sizes eg 300mm X 450mm.
