Anyone ever painted over silicone?

It's the Dow Corning and guy working on the house is adamant he can paint over it as has done so before with No issues. It's gloss paint over Dow Corning 791. Thanks for any help

wouldn't recommend it
buuut
not quite the same when i painted my shed i used ducks back and it would take an extra coat or 2 to seal the surface where i had used silicon to fill knot holes but once treated would be as good as the surrounding but possibly more a film over bridging so not sutable for rub areas

Ok thanks folks- told him to stop after couple windows. Will be interesting to see the difference over coming years.
