Anyone got or fitted a Salus RT300 room stat?

Are the temprature control keys (ie: + and -) supposed to light up?

I've just swapped my old honeywell stat for a Salus RT300. It seems to be working fine but only the LED screen lights up. However, the keys look like they're supposed to illuminate too?

I dont know why, but its bothering me :)
