So having decided to shutter foundations due to water seeping in I'm trying to find out the basics. but I'm struggling to work it all out.Removing the form work after the pour is apparently the way to go. but that seems really hard. Do you dig the trench wider and remove it after it's set.
I'm at a bit of a loss on this. Any advice?

Shutters wont stop water seeping in. You want a cofferdam for that.

Pull the boards up when the concrete is still wet. Allow for this by not using small boards that you cant get hold of after you have filled the trench.

Use corrugated roof sheets that you leave in.

Those ideas sound more like it to me. Do you mean galvanised corrugated sheets?

We used shuttering ply, and left it in place. An extra 24mm trench width, if anybody cared to check.
