After spending many weekends laying and sanding a parquet floor I brushed on some osmo hardwax oil last night before bed, hoping to come down to a glorious finish this morning!

Sadly, I'm really disapointed in the finish. It's patchy, and full of grey/white streaks.

After doing a bit of reading, it seems I might have applied the product too thick? It's not quite finished drying fully. So I've got a few hours before I'm having to do a second coat. Should I do a second coat, or polish this one, or is this not savable and is it time to start sanding from scratch (might prefer jumping out of a window!)?
