Some friends of mine just got new unvented cylinder fitted (six foot high with Typhoon written on it).

Question is that shower has since started to drip from cartridge and from head. I presume it does not like the increase in pressure and that the cartridge needs changing. Is this a suitable explanation?

Shower is Aqualiser

* Blue Cartridge - Manual Mixer
* Grey Cartridge - Gravity/Low pressure systems
* Pink Cartridge - Multipoint/Combination Boilers

Assuming in agreement with above I presume it's the "pink" I want...?

Just fitted a new one to an unvented cylinder, great shower, bought one specially for a high pressure system, but assume you can change the cartridge as the manual says to take on the system change.

Might be worth calling tech support on Monday and explaining the problem.

Identify your shower before calling Aqualisa. Sometimes it's just an O ring at the back which needs changing, unless water's coming out from behind the knob?

Changing the O ring looks impossible until you work out how to do it!

But yes it would be a Pink cartridge.
