Ive got an old simex 80L water heater which is leaking from the bottom, might it be fixable ?

Im struggling to find a reasonably priced replacement.

Depends on what is leaking. If it's leaking from a fitting or seal, it may be possible to replace the gasket, o ring or whatever else it has.
If it's leaking due to corrosion, then it's time to buy a new heater.

thanks, When finding a replacement I think its vented ?
It is fed from the mains, has a pressure reducing valve, has a pressure relief valve fitted and tube, no expansion tank.
thanks
