Just moved into new house, I have an Ariston ACO system boiler which is around 6 years old. when the timer is turned off (say middle of night) the boiler keeps turning itself on for 30seconds- 1 minute, then turn off again, and it repeats this every 10 minutes. This is very annoying as I can hear it in the bedroom upstairs. and seems to me very inefficient.
Is this normal? or is there any settings on the boiler I can change myself?
