Ariston Euro Combi A27 MFFI shutdown due to overheating.

With no call on hotwater or rads system will just switch on the pump and indicate overheating with no burn.
It will not reset with normal reset button, I have to move a jumper on the main board to 0degs and back to 60degs.

Is this a Thermostst (overheat) problem or on the main board??

No nothing to do with the extra rad.

The overheat light and shut down happens with hot water and heating off.

could be the reset button is stuck or an electrical fault, air pressure switch or even the fan

corgy guy should soon sort it if you get one that knows your boiler

Ariston told me once how many Eurocombis there were/are. I can't remember now if it was 17 or 27.
