was it a new valve you tried in the m/c?
have you looked yo see are there any bad connections
have you looked yo see are there any bad connections
does the valve click when it (apparently) opens try a screwdriver on the top you should feel the pull from the coil if its working

if you turn the water off you can here them hum (if they work)
