armoured cable

I will be using it for a small workshop. It will only be used for hand power tools and lighting and possibly a TV, computer and a small fridge. I want about 6 double sockets and 2 fluorescent lights.
The length of cable will be approximately 16 yards long. The joint will have to be made about 1yard away from the workshop will employ an electrician to do the work and install an fuse box, sockets and lighting.
I would like a rough price for all the work to be done and supplying the fuse box. sockets etc.

Thanks agin

You lot should stop being pedantic and grow up.

In answer to the original question. Yes it can be jointed. I would advise, if it is inside, use a suitable box. If it is outside and buried, use a proper joint-looks something like a submarine. Ther must be millions of these in the country, buried underground, in water and up in the air.
