Asbestos doubt, can you please help?! ;)

Hello,

my landlord is fixing my studio wall because of humidity issues. Wall and ceiling been like this for a month and I still study there.
Is there any risk of asbestos, the house really old and the wall is in terrible conditions clearly because job unfinished.

Please look at photos! If you can recognise the material maybe you can tell me whether I have to worry or not!

Landlord says no risk of asbestos as house was built in 1870... but no idea of what happened ever since (so renovations etc.).

Just want to know if I'm being paranoid or not as I spent the few weeks in that studio under those conditions.

The string looks like it is or was part of an old lathe & plaster finish not asbestos. As long as nothing is disturbed by you there is unlikely to be a health risk from asbestos if there is any there.

There is bonding plaster and hessian scrim in the pics. Nothing harmful.
