Hello, we started renovating the house, the house was built in 1950, we had already renovated the downstairs and the plaster was similar, the gentleman who took 1 sample said that he had never found anything in these houses, the sample came back negative, the neighbors also said that there was no asbestos in their place, but I am worried about small white threads that do not look like hair, could it be asbestos? You can't see them in the photo, they are very fragile and the plaster is old, I'm worried because half the room is already covered in dust.... I ordered another test to check it

Put a match to the hairs. If they glow it could be asbestos as don't burn. Will glow a bit and start to disintegte quick.
You know what string and hair is like under a flame.

I don't think it is asbestos plaster tbh. Jmo but that don't count for anything

It burned as soon as the hair caught fire, I don't know of it being lit, only the tip is on lit, but so is the hair, i check this yesterday

I don't want you to say on this forum where you live, but are you in a coastal town in the South East because a different type of plaster was used in some housing stock in that region called bungaroosh. It contains hair, coal, wood, gravel... you name it. The dates of its usage don't match with your '1950' date of house build but it's my best suggestion.

Yes its possible but you will only know for certain by getting it tested.
Dont panic, I worked with it for years and it didnt get me, but do get it tested.
