Asbestos sheets?

Hi guys,

My garage ceiling is boarded out with these sheets. I've not had them tested, but am I right in thinking they are probably asbestos sheets?

I don't know to be honest, we bought the house in January from an older couple who'd lived here for 20+ years.

I wanted to re-board the ceiling but stopped when I realised it might be something that needs removing first

They are definitely asbestos, the first pictures shows the grain that is typically associated with asbestos.
Even if you were in doubt, it is best to assume they are.

And that is not the same as Supalux from a few years ago?

Look very much like it, always assume they are unless you have a test done that clears them, this side is clean but you can bet there is no end of dust from when they were fitted, above just waiting to fall down when they are removed.

I'll get someone in to remove it, not a job I'd envy to be honest!
