asbestos?

How do i know if the floor tiles im about to remove contain asbestos? and if they do how do i remove them?

anybody know, i've had a look on the internet, but i dont understnad how you know if the floor tiles u have contain asbestos.

what makes you think they could even possibly contain asbestos?

Some do Jef. The fact that no one ever bothers is neither here nor there. If they have asbestos in them it'd be the white sheite which is nowhere near as dodgy as they blue or brown tackle.

I just had some samples done at Cardiff university from my artex ceiling and they came back positive for the white stuff. I had to have the work done anyway so was extra careful.

Then I said to myself. Self that was a waste of money if I am going to get the work done anyway!
