So where did the above quote appear within this thread, :?: your not trying to draw attention to yourself are you

With a more realistic location you may, and i mean May get more respect for your typings.

It was a quote from Dangermouse and subsequently removed by Mods, I`m not here after respect, just here to learn and toss in the odd opinion, not here as a professional nor to offend anyone.

Im H.A P.P.Y.

Learn all you can, Shame you cant come into the CC as info is given freely to all dicaplines with the Gas industry, as does the ARGI site.

Just Google ARGI UK

Nice one, don`t think I`m allowed in these sites without proper quals, just gleaning all I can from the gas guys who generously give information on this forum like yourself without it all being shrouded in secrecy, I think we all know that gas work should be done by a gas professional but asking how a flame failure device works shouldn`t be against the Gas Regs!

To answer the OP, aspect magazine has been stopped. We now get a god awful magazine aimmed at the whole company not just engineers. Its in the recycling bin before the wrapper is off.

Thanks for all those who've answered MY question rather than hijacking my post and using it as a way to slag off BG.
I had a few old copys of Aspect that had been passed to me from a family friend fond them to be very informative and generaly quite helpful.
Don't see why many think it was a bad magazine far more helpful than most other publications.
Oh well i suppose if they dont make it anymore i'll just have to keep trawling Ebay for any that crop up.
Cheers all.

I don't seem to get that. mybe it didn't pass the wifes spam filter she's ruthless.

As for Op why not join viper gas as a learner or something like that?

 not another ****ish gas brown nose/yes man. You'd be better off studying sales techniques of (dodgy) double glazing salesmen, much more applicable to BG.

Anyone for an £800 powerflush when it was actually a faulty d/v? Or a c.o.d for a rs boiler in an external garage? Both bg jobs I went to last week. Robbing barstewards picking on vunerable oap's you make me sick.

hello thickso, just reminiscing about the old days of banging my head against a brick wall and hating my job.

No brown noser lad just wanted the magazine.
Asked a question and then have to trawl through my own post over 2 pages long but only actually containing one useful reply to me.
So thanks once again to those who helped all those who did i suppose thanks aswell but wasn't quite as relevant to me.
I know understand most on here don't like brit gas, i will try not to offend again..

hello thickso, just reminiscing about the old days of banging my head against a brick wall and hating my job.

i bet the only head banging of heads on your jobs was from the customers on your fifth visit and you still didnt fix it, now its valliant customers banging their heads.....

no it was following muppets like you around sorting out all your cockups.

still as long as you can sell overpriced (and unnessecary) crap you'll stay in your boss's good books and collect those qdos points.

And just for the record I've done hundreds of makers calls for bg because they overlooked blindingly obvious simple faults no wonder they're known as ****ish gas.

Not only that I also earn alot more nowadays having left bg £££££££££££££££

hardly. dangerlouse probably isnt a bad engineer.

even if he wasnt being a manufacturers rep is the easiest job in the world. if you dont have a clue you just keep going to the van for part after part until its sorted.

I'm not the one asking for old aspect mags to brush up my knowledge, not that they were any good anyhow.

I agree to a certain extent with thickso about the parts swapping but isn't that an offical bg fault finding technique as per ops procedures?
