astra h 1.4 oil leak

hey guys hope someone can help me.

I have looked through this forum and noticed someone had a similar problem,
I have noticed that my car has a oil leak and there was lots of oil round the top of the engine , i replaced the rocker cover gasket, and its all good now, but its still leaking oil,
theres also oil around what i believe to be the throttle, not sure.
every morning i go out to the car there is a small patch of oil on the ground, its really annoying and want to get it fixed.

any ideas.

You will have to clean the oil away, to see where it is coming from? An old cloth and a bit of Sun of a Gun might be all you need? Run the car until you see the source of the leak (it might take a few days) then repair as you find.

Usually if there is high mileage on the engine the sump breather may blow some oil out, if you have any flaws in the pipe work?

But it will just take time to find the cause or causes

Some use a drip tray or cardboard under the car overnight to try and locate the area where the oil is dripping from.

Just keep it topped up on the dip stick
