Here's what people should stop and think about.
Scale.
What do I mean? Well, let's say you think there's absolutely nothing wrong with Islam. Fine, that's your prerogative. Now imagine, in the UK, if Islam was the main religion and if we were governed by an Islamic government that held a healthy majority.
What would the UK look like? Compared to now, what would be allowed, what wouldn't? Would you be allowed to partake in a few beers at the pub? Would your wife/daughter be allowed to wear a skirt above the knee? Would they be allowed to wear a skirt at all?
People need to engage their brains.
I saw a trans LGB&Q guy on a clip the other day, wrapped in a Palestine flag. He was in tears, saying how that area of the world was currently the most compassionate and words to that effect.

Go and try living there mate, see how that goes for you.
I am not a religionist, however I am comfortable to think if the predominant religion in the UK is CoE, CoS or Catholicism and indeed if the government was heavily influenced by them, by and large we could live as we currently do.
I do not think the same of Islam.
So, if someone thinks something is ok, whatever that thing is, imagine if it existed at scale. Would it still be ok?
No doubt perfectly nice well adjusted people thought the Nazi's were ok ... at first.
The right wing Professor Matt Goodwin says that if current trends continue, Muslims will be 20% of the UK population in a hundred years time.
That might help with the scale question.

If he was a proper Tory I most likely would have done.
Never watch GB news either, as I don't have a tv licence to do so legally.
I don't have an aerial plugged into any TVs so couldn't watch it even if I felt a bit rebellious.

Look at it this way, would experts 100 years ago have believed that, today, Muhammad would be one of the top boys names in the UK.

Pro Goodwin knows diddly squat re what the makeup of the UK might be a century from now. None of us do, expert or otherwise.
