At last, our judicial system gets it right ...

Someone has been left in a vegetative state, not caused by a tragic accident, and no one is serving time.

THAT'S how I know the system got it wrong, muppet.
WRONG

completely wrong
Utterly wrong
You could not be more wrong

Why?

A = because our system works on a basis of:

1) innocent until proven guilty
2) guilty requires the decision to be based on “beyond all reasonable doubt”

If the criminal justice system deems that they are not guilty because there is “reasonable doubt” then the system got it right.

If you disagree with any of the above, then provide a reasoned counter argument, instead of throwing a strop because I’ve made you stop and think.

I think you are both talking about slightly different things.

That isn't what happened. They were convicted by a court and found guilty by the Jury. The appeal ruled the convictions unsafe primarily because the prosecution could not establish who had done it and if they actually knew the drug was toxic to non diabetics.

They were each convicted of secondary offences i.e. knowing or allowing, with no one person being held as the actual abuser.
