I am currently in the process of capping some fascia and soffit. The wood is all in good condition.

I am attaching some J channel and going to slot some hollow soffit in vertically as picture.

Screwing the J channel in it appears to have a few bits where it bows between the screws and I am concerned the hollow soffit doesn't sit flush.

Any advice to get a good finish and how to attach the J Channel?

Thanks

Thanks for the good feedback. Finished capping it and looks great. Got the fascia left.

Need to put some soffit vents in. Having capped it imagine I need to get some deeper soffit vents? Also are wasps prone to getting through the vents? Want to avoid any wasp nests. Thanks
