Attempted hijacking.

A bit old school, but still effective if successful, fortunately this one wasn't.

Great story, love it. A nutter decides that it would be an easy cakewalk to hijack flight. He didn't bank on the bravery of those on board or the fact that a lot of Israeli nationals have had military and weapons training and the fact that there were a couple of sub's warming up their pilot skills, at the back.

Good work by all on board. Hope the captain and co-pilot are ok.

Looks like there needs to be a total ban on Muslimmms flying planes.

And suicidal Germans.

Israel already has a vetting process in place, regards what pilots are allowed to fly into their airspace.

The same vetting process that allows israeli pilots to fly into neighbouring airspaces?

Maybe passengers should be given full information about the crew members before take off, so to decide whether to fly or not.
Who knows what sort of experience they might have?
They could all be on their first flight for what I know.
And maybe the pilot has just come back on duty after having suffered depression and tried to commit suicide.
Or something else...
