So looking for some advice.
Another project we want to start on this year is an attic conversion.

So we have a large attic we can to convert to another saleable room, ie conform to regs.

Looking for advice as to how to go about it really.

Would you advise getting an architect for plans? As we want to make room for the new staircase and make adjustments to walls while we do this, so we can get to a point where we have plans, the major building work is done and we have a staircase in and the other rooms done.

Any suggestions or pointers would be great. Not sure how much work an architect does, or can a builder do it all etc.

I would hire an Architectural Technician but would also do your homework yourself first or get a recommendation from someone.

I picked one up off Rochdale Councils website, he was listed in there as a ‘Partner’. Turns out he was ****ing useless and cost us time, money and stress.
