Hi There,
I am renovating a 1900s house with a room in the roof space. The roof has a large flat section, steep pitches to all sides and 3 flat roof dormers.
Flat section joists are 230 deep and pitches ar 150 deep
have planned the insulation as follows

layer1 Mineral wool batts on the flat section and dwarf walls, kingspan on the pitches.
layer2 VCL
Layer3 battens - will allow electrics to be run on warm sidde of vcl
layer 4 Kingspan kooltherm 18 or equivalent (50mm foam+ plasrerboard)

Any feedback or better suggestions on what I haev planned?
Second question, some sections of the roof haev naturally enclosed compartments.... how do I handle these to ensure airflow all over? see photos View media item 64649 View media item 64650Many thanks in advance
