Certainly, very high BHP outputs aren’t new.....motorbike engines have been making 160 bhp from 1100cc for a good while, but of course they have so much less weight to propel.
Service intervals are around 4k with fully synthetic lube which would be unacceptable to most car users, so your thoughts are definitely valid!
