Auto washer isolator

the dryer will have a higher continuous current for a longer period, so it would be slightly preferable to do it the other way round.

The dryer and the washer should not both be connected to one double socket, as it will tend to overheat.

The auto wassher is on a ring main socket whilst the dryer is on a spur (one socket)

If one doesn't think too deeply, that sounds reasonable, but I don't think there is actually much of a basis for it - a 2.5mm² unfused spur (or even a hypothetical 1.5mm² one, come to that!) is just as capable of supplying a 13A load as is the socket it's spurred from!
The dryer and the washer should not both be connected to one double socket, as it will tend to overheat.
I personally agree (at least as a 'reasonable precaution') - but, as you will see from discussions in other threads, at least a few others don't seem to think this is an issue.

Kind Regards, John
