Awful Shower Installation.

Hi guys! No piccys I'm afraid...

Right from the CU up...

6mm² T&E fed from 60A Wylex board via 32A MCB.

Tails undersized, PEB's undersized. No RCD. Cable not clipped and in contact with and wedged behind water pipes.
Cable not in safe zones and run under 200mm fibreglass insulation, switch in Zone 2 (burnt out big-time). No sleeving on cpc's. Circuit length approx 14m.

All this feeding a Galaxy 10.5kW shower.

Was going to say, this is around 1.45X the MCB rating for the load alone...

Cable must have been running pretty cool, was it under any insulation or clipped?
