Hi
I live on a large piece of property and I am having many problems with my water line. I get my water from a large creek that runs through my backyard. THe plastic water pipe that is in the creek burst and is squirting water straight up in the air. THe crack is located 1/2 way between the submersable pump and the pump house (which has my compressor tank). What would be the easiest simplest way for me to fix this problem, ASAP. I shut off the pump breaker so it wouldnt keep the pump going constently, but now I am worried about if it freezes then Im screwed even more. My spouse is out of town working, and in the last year I have done lots of things myself. So with instruction I am capable of doing this Myself....please help me someone.....

Niki, I was really interested up to the point where you said
then Im screwed even more
...but then you mentioned that you had a spouse. :(

Go to your local plumbers merchants and purchase a plastic coupler to fit your pipe. Turn off supply and drain. Cut the split out and join with coupler.
Hope this helps but without seeing the job............ :D
